1Remove the rubber grommet from front of lower engine coverRemove cable retainerApply liberal amount of OMC Tripe-Guard grease to both anchor block pockets2Extend throttle cable and lubricate with OMC Tripe-Guard l!J grease3Verify that the fast idle lever is down in the RUN position4Move the remote control handle from NEUTRAL to the FORWARD detent and then halfway back to NEUTRALThis positions the control for proper throttle cable adjustment
