Check voltage between ground and point (j) Connect voltmeter at point (j) Turn key to "start" position
aIf no reading, solenoid is faultybIf meter reads 12 volts (battery voltageclick should be heard in solenoid), proceed to STEP

Check voltage between ground and point

Reconnect starter to solenoid cable at check point (j) Connect meter at point
