Powerhead Servicing Removal

power packIf the engine is electric start, disconnect the battery cables at the battery

engine components are removed This will simplify identification and assembly2Remove positive (+) and negative (-) battery leads from powerhead3Remove yellow red lead from solenoid4 Disconnect the fuel inlet hose from the fuel pump or VRO unit5Remove the stop switch ground lead from the engine blockUsing OMC Socket Removal Tool and isopropyl alcoholdisconnect the five -pin Amphenol connector and remove the stop switch lead from pin location "E" 6Remove purple white lead from primer solenoid 7Remove red leads from terminal board
