Amphenol Connectors, Servicing Information Connector Terminal Removal
Use the recommended lubricant for terminal removalSubstitutes may cause high resistance connections, short circuits between terminals, or have adverse effects on the connector material1To remove terminal from the plug or receptacle, apply isopropyl alcohol into cavity at both ends to lubricate the terminal2 Place the plug or receptacle against the edge of flat surface and allow clearance for the terminal to be removed 3Select the proper removal tool for the terminal :
