Installation Recommendations
INote Carefully follow the installation instructions packaged with
the VRO oil reservoirIncorrect installation might restrict the oil supply to the engine and cause serious powerhead damage
1Determine if the standard oil reservoir has sufficient capacity for the applicationIf it doesn 't, consider 3.5 or 7.0 gallon reservoirRefer toOptional Equipment, this section 2Choose reservoir location that allows easy access and is within installation recommendationsThe reservoir has 10ft(3 m) of oil hose and 16 ft (4,9 m) of wiring harness3The reservoir hose can be extended to maximum of 25 ft(7,6 m)If the installation is extended, the oil hose between the primer bulb and engine must be one continuous section with no fittings or connectionsDo not add on to the existing hoseThe wiring harness can be extended by soldering on additional lengths of 16 gauge wireProtect the connections with shrink tube and electrical tapeObserve original wiring polarity
