] 3Remove screw retaining throttle cable trunnion f61 Disconnect the throttle cable from armature plate by pulling
the cable downward5housmg
the two screws and one nut retaining the starter
6Remove the throttle cable as followsRemove the two retaining screws from the top of the starter housing Twist the throttle cable assembly in counterclockwise direction to unthread the cable from the throttle knobDo not remove large screw from top of starter housing at this time because starter spring will disengage and unwind forcibly
