Removal1Remove the choke knob and the low speed adjustment knob
t=J (if equipped)2Remove the lower engine cover as follows: Loosen the front and rear screws retaining the lower engine cover Disengage starboard side of the cover from the port side Spread the cover enough to remove it from the powerhead
3To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicingtwist and remove spark plug leads
4 Integral tank modelsdisconnect the fuel hose at the carburetorFuel will flow from hose where it is disconnectedPlug hose with smooth surfaced object5Remove the four screws 6Remove two retainers
