3After final adjustment is completed, turn low-speed needle counterclockwise one-eighth turn to prevent lean condition in NEUTRALf131 4Adjust the throttle cracking screw to achieve approximately 700 RPM (900 RPM for sailboat models) Using OMC Ballhex Driver, adjust the throttle cam follower screw until the follower contacts the cam and engine RPM begins to increaseThen back off the screw one-eighth turn Disregard alignment mark on throttle cam If engine RPM begins to drop off as the cam follower is adjusted into the cam, the low-speed needle is too lean Readjust and repeat step 2Wide Open Throttle Stop Stop the engineRotate the armature plate to wide open throttle positionUsing OMC Ballhex Driver, open or close the throttle cam until the roll pin in the carburetor throttle shaft is in vertical positionAir silencer assembly must be in place to achieve the minimum test propeller RPM
