Idle Timing 1sl 1As you face the steering handle, turn the idle speed adjustment knob counterclockwise to minimum slow speed position f61 2Remove the screw retaining the throttle cable bracket to the powerheadBe sure not to lose the washer under the bracket3To ensure the engine will start, make the following initial carburetor adjustments: Turn in the low speed adjustment needle until it seats lightly; then back out two and one-half turns Loosen the throttle cracking screw Turn in the screw four turns after it contacts the throttle valve linkConnect timing light to No.1 cylinderStart the engine and run it in NEUTRALAdjust the idle spark stop to achieve ATDC with throttle valve near the closed position Lock bracket in place with mounting screw0 0
