1Remove shift and throttle cable clamps2Remove cotter pins attaching shift and throttle cables and remove the cables3Remove neutral start switch (if equipped)4 Make sure lever is in the neutral position and remove the one screw retaining the lever5Remove neutral lock plate6Remove screw retaining throttle arm
7Remove washer, retainer, spring and throttle arm as an assembly8Remove driveshaft
