Description and Operation
The remote control unit is comprised of: combination throttle and gearshift selection handle (control handle) throttle friction adjustment fast idle lever key switch and primer neutral start switch emergency ignition cutoff switch warning horn neutral lockout on control handle The fast idle lever opens the throttle enough to start the engine and to control the fast idle speed for warm-up, after the engine has been startedThe neutral start switch completes the starting circuit only when the control handle is in "Neutral" positionThe circuit is open when the control handle is in either "Forward" or "Reverse" position and the "Start" position of the key switch is inactiveWith the control handle in "Neutral" position, the fast idle lever should be moved to "Start" positionAfter starting and warmup, the fast idle lever should be moved to "RUN(latched) position
