Solenoid CheckAll Models

All engine wiring must be disconnected from the solenoid before proceeding with this test
1Calibrate an ohmmeter on high ohms scale and connect one lead to terminal and the other lead to terminal The ohmmeter should show very high reading (00)e If the ohmmeter reading is very low (zero), replace the solenoid 2Attach positive battery jumper to terminal and negative battery jumper to terminal The solenoid should close with an audible clicke The ohmmeter should show very low reading (zero)elf the ohmmeter reading is very high (00), replace the solenoid3After installing the solenoid, coat all wires and terminals, except the battery "+" connection, with OMC Black Neoprene Dip
