& General Safety W.arning To prevent sudden movement when starting engine and possible "man overboard" situations, test the "start-in-neutral-only" system before returning engine to customer When replacement parts are required, use genuine OMC parts or parts with equivalent characteristics including type, strength and materialFailure to do so may result in product malfunction and possible injury to the operator andor passengers To prevent possible eye injury, always wear SAFETY GLASSES while servicing the unit Always read and follow safety related precautions found on containers of hazardous substances like parts cleaners, primers, sealants and sealant removers Replace any locking fastener (locknut or patch screw) if its locking feature becomes weakDefinite resistance to tightening must be felt when reusing locking fastenerIf replacement is indicated, use only authorized replacement or equivalent When using shop air for cleaning or drying parts: aBe sure air supply is regulated to not more than 25 PSI (172 kPa)bBe sure you use appropriate eye protection to avoid personal injury
