- Remove the thrust rod CD from the bracketsRemove the tilt shaft screw Q) and nut from the stern brackets and swivel bracketRemove the port and starboard stop link screws and nuts from the stern bracketsRemove the two stern bracket flange screws Separate the stern brackets from the swivel bracket
