Igl 1Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to both sides of a
new adapter to exhaust housing gasket Place the gasket on the adapter2Secure the inner exhaust housing to the adapter
1101 Slide the water tube grommet and the water tube cover
down the water tubeAlign the water tube and secure the cover to the adapter4 Slide the inner exhaust housing and the adapter into the outer exhaust housingSecure the adapter to the outer exhaust housing
EJ Tighten the screws to torque of 18-20 ftIbs(25-27 Nm)Install the thrust mount to the housing and tighten the screws
to torque of 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)6Check condition of the shift rod seal
5Install the two lower side mounts to the exhaust housing
