Installation 1Insert the stop button leads and throttle cable through the lower engine cover grommet2Apply OMC Triple-Guard grease to the two steering handle bushingsPlace the bushings into the steering bracketAttach the steering handle to the bracket3Secure the stop button lead to the powerhead4Using OMC Pin Insert Tool PIN 322697, insert the stop button lead into "E" cavity of the plug5Thread the throttle cable bracket, jam nut, and pivot connector onto the throttle cable6Secure the shift rod to the shift handle7Refer to Synchronization and Linkage Adjustments, Section 1, to adjust the throttle cable :;j
