26 Clean and inspect all the components of the impact sensor valveReplace components if necessary 27 Remove the trim-up relief valve core and spring28Using hooked wire tool, pull the trim-up relief valve seat from the manifold29Clean and inspect all the components of the trim-up relief valvePay particular attention to the rubber tip on the core30Remove the three electric motor retaining screws and washersRemove the electric motor from the manifold31There are two types of permanent magnet electric motors being used interchangeably on the power trim and tilt unitThe motor shown on the left is the Bosch brand motorThe motor shown on the right is the Prestolite brand motorBoth motors have an O-ring on their base, which needs to be inspected upon disassemblyEither of these motors may be used for replacement, but internal components may not be interchangedSet the motor aside until disassembly is required32 Remove the oil pump filter by simultaneously pressing the filter sideways while prying the tab out of the pocket in the manifoldClean the oil pump filter carefully 33There are three screws that retain the oil pump to the manifoldTwo of them are recessed Allen head cap screwsand one is hex head screw Remove the three screws and oil pump assembly If the oil pump needs flushing, do not clean it in solvent but only in new clean hydraulic fluid Rotate the pump coupling to expel any foreign matter
