cUsing sharp screwdriver, pry the scraper out of the end capDiscard the scraperd Pry the O-ring out of the end cap using flat toolOnce the scraper and O-ring have been removed from the end cap, the outside O-ring can be removed Scrape off crusted-on salt or corrosion and clean the cap thoroughlyDiscard the O-ringseOil and install new O-ring and scraper in the end capThe scraper is installed with the lip facing out and can easily be pressed in with you fingers or with large flat tool in the palm of your hand

Oil and install new O-ring
