Up Circuit
1Move red meter lead to Point E6 in junction boxPush trim switch in up positionBattery voltage should be indicated If voltage is indicated, check for voltage at Point E7 If voltage is indicated, move red lead to Point E8 with trim switch lead in up positionI voltage is indicated, check connector C2I con nector checks okay and motor does not run, test motor2If no voltage is indicated at Point E6, check connector C1 between junction box and remote controlCheck blue white stripe lead from junction box Point E6 to trim switch in remote control for continuityCheck trim switch contact with switch in up position between blue white stripe lead and redwhite stripe lead for continuityDisconnect connector 1This removes battery voltage from remote control lever for continuity testCheck redwhite stripe lead from trim switch to terminal strip for continuity to Point 13On junction boxes without fuse, check purple leads back to E11, key switch in remote control for continuity from E1a using an ohmmeterIf continuity checks good, check key switch with voltmeterIf no voltage at key switch, check key switch If key switch checks good, check engine fuse and lead assembly to key switch
