Installation of Remote Control Cables on Motor To prevent accidental starting of engine always remove ignition key from start switch and remove cap from Emergency Ignition Cut-Off SwitchDisconnect battery cables at battery1Identify the throttle cable from the shift cable at the engine end of cables by shifting control handle into "Forward"The shift cable will move first2Lubricate the shift and throttle cable ends with OMC TripleGuard GreaseAttach Shift Cable 1Move control handle on remote control box to "Neutral" positionMove the fast idle lever to "Run" or latched position2Remove rubber grommet from front of lower engine coverOpen cable retainer 3Place engine shift lever in "Neutral" position (propeller shaft will turn freely when in "Neutral" position)4
