Installation of OMC long-LifeTM (or equivalent) Cables into Remote Control Cable Adapter Kit PIN 173600 must be used to install OMC Long-Life cables into the remote control1Remove three cover screws from remote control and pull two halves apart2Place housing half and cover half on flat surfaceApply OMC Triple-Guard Grease to all points shown in figuresBe sure to grease the three cover screw threaded holes3Lubricate outside of brass sleeves at control end of both remote control cables with OMC Triple-Guard Grease4Place trunnion caps over cable trunnion and slide casing guides over cable sleeves5Using 332" hex wrench, start the set screws into each end of both control end wire clamps
