Continuity Check of Stop Switch65 Manual and Tiller Electric Start Models 1Disconnect switch leads from engine wiringIf any leads are installed in engine wiring connectors, remove lead from connector2Set an ohmmeter to Hi scaleAttach ohmmeter leads to switch leads and depress switch 3Ohmmeter should show continuity when switch is depressed and no continuity when switch is not depressed4When replacing stop switch on tiller handle models, refer to Section Mid-Section paragraph Steering Handle Disassembly
