3Remove the four screws to the gearcase retaining
the impeller housing
4Slide the water pump assembly off the driveshaftUse caution to avoid loss of the impeller pin Remove the impeller plate and the impeller plate gasket Discard the gasket5The propeller shaft bearing housing is retained in the gearcase by two screws securing two retainersThe retainers are behind the outer rim of the housingRemove the two screws and the retainers6Remove the propeller shaft bearing housing from the gearcaseUse two OMC Special Tools PIN 330278 (Propeller Shaft Bearing Housing Puller) and the flywheel puller from OMC Special Tool PIN 378103 (Universal Puller)Assemble the components as shown and pull the housing from the gearcaseDiscard the three O-rings from the housing
