Installation of Powerhead100 1Remove the nuts from the powerhead adaptor studs

2I nstall new O-ring on the driveshaftCoat the driveshaft splines with OMC Moly LubeDo not coat the top surface of the driveshaftLubricant here may prevent seating of the driveshaft in the crankshaft3Attach the body from OMC Special Tool PIN 378103 (Uni"'" versal Puller Kit) to the flywheel using three screws (PIN 309492) and three washers (PIN 307640)Flat side of the body must face upThread OMC Special Tool PIN 321537 (Lifting Eye) into the body until taper of tool engages taper in center of the crankshaftTighten the lifting eyeUsing an adequate hoist, lift the powerhead4Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to both sides of powerhead to powerhead adaptor gasketPlace the gasket in position on the powerhead studs5Place the powerhead on the adaptorRotate the powerhead slightly back and forth to align the crankshaft and the driveshaft splines6Apply OMC Screw Lock to threads of the adaptor to powerhead screws and install themInstall the nuts on the studsTighten the screws and the nuts to torque of 16-19 Nm (1214 ft Ibs
