Crankshaft 1Use OMC Special Tool PIN 325453 (Seal Installer) to install new seal in the upper crankcase headApply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to metal case of the seal before installingLip of the seal must face in when installed 2Use OMC Special Tool PIN 326567 (Seal Installer) to install new seal in the lower crankcase head Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to metal case of the seal before installingLip of the seal must face out toward the gearcase when installed 3Oil and place two new O-rings on both crankcase heads
