Running Tests Using C.DVoltmeter and Adapter100 Models

The C.Dadapter permits tests on the charge coil, sensor coil and power pack while the engine is runningThe rubber connectors are plugged into the adapter ONE AT TIME and the pinholes permit tapping the meter into that particular circuitWhen the adapter switches are in the "On" position the circuit is complete through the adapterIn the "Off" position the signal goes from the input side to the meter tap only eliminating any influence on the output side of the adapterThe engine will not run with switches in "Off" position

DO NOT turn any adapter switches to "Off" while the engine IS running
Make All Running Tests at Minimum of 1000 RPM Before making ignition checks, place spark checker on the spark plug high tension leadsAdjust the spark gap on the spark checker to 12 mm (12"), and crank engineSpark should jump the gap steadilyNo spark, remove the blackyellow wire from ignition plugSpark appears, check stop circuitNo spark, pro ceed with ignition test In troubleshooting and the starboard should be checked each side, port and the 100 model ignition system, the port side side are two identical ignition systems, and the sameTherefore, the checks will apply to starboard ign ition system
