adapter switches must be in the "Off" position for these tests except for Power Pack Output Test
Battery must be fully charged before testingA new engine not broken in may show lower readings due to lower cranking speedsBefore making ignition checks, place spark checker on the spark plug high tension leadsAdjust the spark gap on the spark checker to 12 mm (12"), and crank engineSpark should jump the gap steadilyNo spark, remove the blackyellow wire from ignition plugSpark appears, check stop circuitNo spark, proceed with ignition testIn troubleshooting and the starboard should be checked each side, port and the 100 model ignition system, the port side side are two identical ign ition systems, and the sameTherefore, the checks will apply to starboard ignition system
