INotel Do not use sealer on carburetor gasketsReplace any fuel hoses or fuel hose clamps if deteriorated or damaged
1I nstall new carburetor base gaskets
2 Install carburetors and secure with lockwashers and nuts3Install primer lines
4Install fuel hoses between carburetors and secure with tie straps5Snap throttle link in placeAdjust carburetors as described in Engine Synchronization and Adjustments, Section 1, before installing air silencer Connect drain hose to air silencer base 7Connect air silencer to manifold hose Using new gaskets and screws, install air silencer baseTighten screws to torque of 7-9 N'm (60-84 in IbsCheck that gasket surface on air silencer cover is not damaged or deformedInstall cover with new gasket
