23Lift the pump out of the lower engine coverCut the tie strap retaining the fuel inlet hosePull the fuel inlet and the primer hoses off the pumpDisa ssemb ly 1Pull primer knob OUT to prime positionInsert pin (such as paper clip) through primer shaft2Remove knob retaining screw and remove knobRemove pin and release shaft3Remove primer mounting nut and primer pump clampIf necessary, use OMC Special Tool PI 123195 (Spanner Wrench) to remove primer mounting nutCOB1 213
