Avoid Use Of: Automotive oils Premix fuel of unknown quantity Premix fuel richer than 50: ratio Oil and gasoline not leaner than the recommended 50: mixing ratio

Some additives in 501 Lubricant are subject to evaporationAlways cover partially used cans to prevent deterioration of lubricant
Fuel Mixing Instructions Always use fresh gasolineGasoline is extremely flammable and highly explosive under certain conditionsAlways stop engine and do not smoke or allow open flames or spark near the boat when refueling or changing fuel tanksTo prevent fuel spillage in boat, remove portable fuel tank from boat when refuelingAlways mix in well ventilated areaPortable TankPour approximately litres (1 gallon) gasoline into tank, add required lubricantReplace filler cap securelyThoroughly mix by shaking tank Add balance of gasolineBuilt-In TankTo prevent static spark use large metal filter funnel as shown in figurePour the lubricant slowly with the fuel as tank is filled, or in separate container mix all the lubricant needed with litres (1 gallon) or more of gasolinePour this mixture slowly with fuel as tank is filledThe fuel nozzle must contact the metal funnel when filling the tankFuel Mixture50:1 Ratio
