g If timing light or meter is not available, use feeler gage to adjust breaker paints Point gap should be set to 0.020 inch (0.51 mm) (0 .022 inch (0.56 mm) for new points) with the breaker arm on the high lobe of the cam (full open) hRotate crankshaft through 180 clockwise, and repeat entire procedure for second set of points iCheck crankshaft and flywheel tapers for any traces of oi' This assembly must be perfectly dryswab tapered surfaces with solvent and blow dry with compressed airInspect both tapers for burrs or nicks U NOTE i&1iU
