Before conducting these tests sure to do the Spark Test, and the page 4Ohmmeter Tests starting 7
Crank engine and observe meter readingmove lead from cavity and insert into cavity Crank engine and observe meterreading either test means charge coil is shorted to ground Locate short and repair replace charge coil check charge coil output, remove bIack lead from armature plate and insert into cavity of connectorSee Figure 4-24Crank engine and observe meter readingIf meter reads 230 Coil Output Testhigher go to Sensor
