LEAF VALVES Inspect the lea1 valve assembIy and disassembIe i1 necessaryThe lea1 valves must all varnish and gum, and the leaves must per1ectly 11at and without distortion so that they per1ect seal with the lea1 plate baseSee Figure 3-12 PLUGS If leakage occurs at plug smart tap with mallet and flat end punch in the center of the plug will normally correct this condition See Figure 3-13If necessary, move plug to clean out slow speed orifice holesSee Figure 3-14
