The flywheel may not "pop" from the crankshaft taper when tightening the puller boltTo "pop" the flywheel, use heavy plastic mallet and tap the top outside diameter of the flywheel or pullerDo not hit the center bolt to remove the flywheel

aClean the crankshaft and flywheel tapers with solvent, and blow dry with compressed airThese surfaces must be clean and dry to allow proper locking of the tapersbInstall the flywheel and tighten the nut to the torque specified in Section 2
