DESCRIPTION The swing arm, gear drive starter engages the flywheel ring gear when the rope handle is pulledA coil spring winds tight as the rope unwinds and recoils the rope around the pulley as the handle is returned to the control panel
Never release the handle at end of stroke allowing rope to snap backSerious damage could occur
The starter design incorporates the gear reduction principle to overcome starting effort required when the pistons reach the top of their compression strokes
