LOWER UNIT ADJUSTMENTS
TILTING FRICTION Tilt the motor up as far as it will goTighten tilting bolt nut until the motor will remain in tilted position but can be returned to drive position with little effortSee Figure 6-20

STEERING FRICTION The steering friction adjusting screw is located beneath the powerhead on the front of the swivel bracketAdjust screw for minimum steering effort, but tight enough to prevent motor from turning in the swivel bracket when the steering handle is released See Figure 6-21
