eApply coat of OMC Needle Bearing Grease (Part Number 378642) to main bearing liner, and place 14 needles in cylinder block halfBe sure main bearing needles are not mixed with connecting rod needlesMain bearing needles are smaller than connecting rod needlesfCarefully place crankshaft in cylinder block Be certain to align upper main bearing dowel with crankcase recessDo not disturb needlesgMove pistons up so that connecting rod bearings are against crankpinsUsing OMC Needle Bearing Grease, add remainder of 30 needles to each crankpin hAttach connecting rod capsConnecting rod caps are not interchangeable with those of other rods, neither may the caps of the same rods be turned end for endTo assist correct assembly, matching corners are provided on sides of rod and capiTighten connecting rod screws to torque as specified in Section 2Check movement at connecting rods on crank pinRods should float freely after torquingjUsing OMC Needle Bearing Grease, place re-
