12 volt battery Red Fuse Start-in-neutral only switch Place voltmeter lead to each check point Common engine ground Starter motor Solenoid switch Yellow red

STEP- Connect meter at

aIf no reading, olenoid is faultybIf meter reads 12 volts (battery voltageclick should be heard in solenoid), proceed to STEP7
aIf meter reads 12 volts (battery voltage)ignition switch is faultybIf no reading, proceed to STEP5STEP- Connect meter at

STEP- Reconnect starter to solenoid cable at check point Connect meter at point key to "start" position
