GEARCASE Remove upper and lower slotted plugs and gasket assemblies from starboard side of gearcaseWith propeller shaft in normal running position, allow oil to drain completelyRefill with OMC HI-VIS Gearcase LubricantIf not available, use OMC Premium Blend Gearcase LubeWith propeller shaft still in normal running pOSition,

fill until lubricant appears at upper holeFigure 2-1

Install upper plug before removing lubricant filler hose from lower holeLower plug can then be installed without oil lossIf filler type can is not available, install lower plug
