5If voltage is indicated at point (4) on starter motor and starter motor does not crank engine, remove and test starter motorSee starter motor removal and test pages 7-3 and 7-4CONTINUITY CHECK OF STARTER SWITCH AND LEAD ASSEMBLY With ohmmeter set to low ohms scale, check continuity as follows: NOTE Battery leads must be disconnected at battery and starter switch leads disconnected at points (1) and (2), Figures 7-20 and 7-211Connect one lead of ohmmeter to point (1) and other lead of ohmmeter to point (2)Press starter switch buttonMeter should show con63322
