MOTOR AND PUMP To remove trim motor, remove three screws on motor flange and lift motor offRemove a-ring and oil pump filterSee Figure 9-19Pump assembly is rel)1oved by removing three pump screwsAssembly can then be lifted outSee Figure 9-20Pump relief valve (V-8) is under pump assembly and can be lifted out TRIM CYLINDERS To disassemble trim cylinders, use an adjustable spanner and unscrew end capTrim piston assembly can be lifted outSee Figure 9-21The sleeve fits snugly and hook must be used beneath it to pull the sleeve outThe procedure is the same for both trim cylinders

TILT CYLINDER Disconnect both upper and lower oil lines at tilt cylinder and at manifoldPush cylinder pivot pin to one side and remove tilt cylinderTo disassemble cylinder, clamp cylinder in vise at cylinder flatsUse an adjustable spanner to loosen the end head assemblyWithdraw piston and rod assemblyPiston can then be unscrewed from rod and the end head assembly removedSee Figure 9-22Band is removed from cylinder by unscrewing fitting and sliding band off
