REMOVAL OF GEARCASE FOR SERVICE
The gearcase assembly may be removed from the exhaust housing and power head as follows: aDisconnect battery
bDrain lubricant propeller

gear case

and remove

cDisconnect shift rod connector from bellcrank by loosening bellcrank screw and nutSpread bellcrank halves apart and disconnect shift rod connector from bellcrankSee Figure 6-7dMark gear case and adjustable trim tab so it can be reinstalled in the same positionRemove screw and trim tabSee Figure 6-8
