REASSEMBLY OF ARMATURE PLATE Reassemble components which were removed from the armature plate, following the reverse order of disassembly and paying particular attention to the following: aCorrect locating of the driver coil and lamination assembly is governed by machined mounting surfaces on the armature plateCoil lamination heels should be flush with machined surfacesSee Figure 427
bReconnect all leads on the armature plate, making sure that connections are clean and tightBend condenser leads down so they cannot rub against flywheelcMake sure that new oiler wick is installed under the drive coilSee Figure 4-29
