ONaTE If "0" ring in connector housing is damaged, it will be necessary to replace connector

housing as air will enter fuel line and carburetorMotor will run out of fuelWhen reassembling the fuel hose, check for cracks in the primer bulb or in the hoseThe primer bulb must be attached so that fuel flow is from the shorter to the longer hose lengthFuel flow through the primer bulb is indicated by an arrowSee Figure 3-28

TESTING ,FUEL PUMP
Conduct this test on the motor in test tank or on the boataConnect fuel pressure gauge between the carburetor and fuel pump as illustrated in Figure 3-29Figure 3- 27Attaching Hose Clamp HOSE AND PRIMER BULB ASSEMBLY CLAMPS To disassemble hose clamps, grip clamp with pliersBend overlapping hook backward (in direction of arrow) to release clampSee Figure 3-26To assemble hose clamps, grip clamp firmly with pliersApply slight pressure to hook on top side with screw driverSqueeze clamp with pliers until hooks interlockSee Figure 3-27ONaTE Before testing, loosen fuel tank gas cap momentarily to release any pressure that may have built upbstart motor and observe gaugeshould read as belowR.P.M600
