aIf oil line elbow has been removed, coat threads with Locquic Primer and Loctite Pipe Thread Sealant with Teflon Install elbow in cylinder ody and orient opening as hown in Figure 9- 11bInstall new internal "0" ring and new wiper in end capInstall new external "0" ring on end capcLubricate end cap internal "0" ring with OMC Sea- Lube Gearcase Lube and slide onto piston roddReassemble piston rod stop to piston rod(Be ure piston bearing is put on piston rod before assembling stop Apply OMC Locquic Primer and OMC Nut Lock to piston rod threads, tighten stop securelyeAssemble piston rod assembly to carrier assemblyApply OMC Locquic Primer and OMC Nut Lock to carrier threadsTighten piston bearing securely with spanner wrenchfInstall new "0" ring assembly on piston
