9-6 The mating cable connector contains the terminals for engagement
with the receptac le terminals and held in the plastic housing by a

prong that catches in pocket of the housingThe terminals can be removed and eplaced simila rly to the receptacle terminalsThe connecto housing has water shed lip that covers the edge of the receptacle housing when fully engaged The assembled connector hould be positioned so that the lip is down to help prevent water from entering the housing and corroding the terminals
