sUsing driveshaft seal protector(Special Tool 318674,) install driveshaft bearing housing and new gasket with screws dipped in OMC Gasket Sealing CompoundTorque the four scr ews to specifi cations shown in Section 2
tThread shift rod connector on lo shift rod until seat ed, then back off two or more turns until offset faces forwardSee Figure 6-45
