POWER ASSIST CYLINDER Using one half of spanner wrench (SpeCial Tool 1386112) lamped in soft-jawed vice, place hydraulic assist cylinder on tool, push rod down and engage pins of tool with holes provided in bottom of pistonSee Figure 6- 26I5JNOTE

Use extreme caution to prevent bending push rodPlace other half of special tool on top of cylinder engaging pins in holes in piston capUs ing socket wrench, tUrn counterclockwise to disassemble cylinderRemove pin to disasse mble push rod, piston and valveSee Figure 6- 27 for hift assist components
