Wash parts except rope in solvent such as Solvasol and dry with compressed airRemove any traces of corrQsj.on and wipe metal parts with an dampened clothInspect starter spring end loopsReplace spring if weak, corroded or crackeddInspect ropeReplace rope if f:rayed ,1 If rope is frayed, inspect hole in for rough edgesRemove with file and polish until smoothfCheck to see that grommet is in plac in lower motor coverReplace if it is missing or slips out of cover
pulleyWind rope clockwise around as face knotUse large rubber band or piece of masking tape to hold rope in Lightly coat bushings with and insert in and idler gear armlubricant
