REASSEMBLV OF GEARCASE Install new seal in the top the gearcaseApply light coat Gasket Sealing Compound Part Number 317201 the outside diameter new seal and press seal into the gearcase head or bearing retainerLubricate and place new ring in position gearcase headQil the propeller shaft and slide the gearcase head or bearing retainer onto the shaftIf removed, replace the spacer used the high thrust gearcase propeller shaftPlace the pinion gear in position in the gearcase and the thrust bearing used with the weedless gearcaseThe thrust bearing has small boss the bottom side which must fit in between two bosses in the gearcaseInstall driveshaft in gear housing
